Welcome to the grey.
Every truth told. Every mind opened.
The point of sharing my personal projects is not to change minds, but to open them. These projects aim to tell both sides of the story, acknowledging that every truth deserves to be told. In fact, my personal projects motto is, "Every truth told. Every mind opened." It is through these projects that I will document every truth. From love, laughter, and happily ever after. To conflict, grief, and struggle. And every truth in between. The projects that do not have a counter view point have been selected for coverage due to a perceived lack of general knowledge regarding the topic. These projects will be pursued with the intent to increase self and public awareness.
Ambitions.
The projects listed on this page represent my visual storytelling ambitions. Inevitably, new projects will be added to the list, some projects may stall and not reach completion, and still others may never leave the planning phase. All projects will remain listed to allow for the possibility that life will, at some point in the future, circle back and permit me to finish that which I have started. Some project names may be modified to better reflect the direction, or redirection, that each project organically takes. Some projects may span several decades while others will be naturally more suited to be constructed over a single day.

How do you select your project topics?
Project selection is based on several factors. Including, but not limited to, interest and intrigue, perceived value to the general public, and lack of coverage elsewhere.
I know someone you should interview for one of your projects. Should I ask them to contact you?
If you feel that someone you know would be a great candidate for inclusion in one of the current or ongoing projects please do ask them to contact me. Obviously, I may not be able to use them in a project for various reasons. But I sincerely appreciate the heads up regarding a potential subject matter expert or qualified source.
I have a project suggestion. How can I share my suggestion with you?
If you have a project suggestion I would love to hear it! Please tell me more.
I have a great story. Would you do a project on my story?
I am fascinated by every human story/endeavor so I would love to hear your story regardless of if I am able to make it into a stand alone project or incorporate it into an existing project. If you would like to commission a project about your story, or the story of a loved one, please tell me more by contacting me. Commissioned projects can be comprised of present day still images, video, and/or audio collected by me. They can also include preexisting stills, video, and/or audio supplied by you, family, friends, or public archives.
What are some examples of projects that I could commission?
The possibilities are endless. If one of the following ideas is of interest to you or if you have an idea of your own please contact me.
Here are a few ideas ... Documenting your special event. Examples include family reunions, reenactment events, or team/club activities. A special message to a loved one. Examples include announcing a pregnancy and/or birth, sending special birthday wishes to a loved one that lives far away, or capturing your engagement as a keepsake or to share with friends/family. Family chronicles. Examples include capturing general family history or focusing on one particular ancestors life and preserving their story for future generations. I have a question that is not listed.
Please contact me. Be sure to include your specific question(s) in the comment section of your message.
