What is personal brand photography?
Personal brand photography (PBP) is a concentrated effort to highlight what makes you and your brand unique. Lots of people do what you do, but no one does it quite like you. We'll collaborate to create images that connect with your audience on a personal level. Helping you stand out from the crowd.
How long are your personal branding sessions?
I know your time is valuable. I will work to capture the goal images and stories established during our pre-shoot consultation as quickly as possible.
What is included with each personal branding package?
Packages include a pre-shoot consultation at your location (or via Zoom), commercial use license allowing you to further edit (crop, add filter, add text/logo, etc.) images as desired, specified number of stories, and specified number of finalized digital images. Please note that sales tax is not included in the package pricing and will be an additional charge. The current sales tax rate for my operation location is 8.00%.
What is a personal branding story?
A story accomplishes two things, it helps your ideal client understand what makes you special while simultaneously strengthening your brand identity. In other words, stories help your clients relate to you as a person while also building up your credibility as an expert in your field.
What is the turn around time? How long until I receive my images?
Your final digital images will be available within one week of your shoot date.
Do I need to give you photo credit (PC) every time I use one of my final images?
Never. My personal brand clients are never required to credit me when they use imagery they have purchased directly from me. Additionally, all final images will appear without my logo/watermark, as your logo/text/link is what is important in conveying your story and building your brand.
Will I be required to sign a contract?
Yes. Your contract must be signed prior to your scheduled shoot date. If your contract is not signed your shoot will be cancelled.
Will I be required to sign a model release?
Yes. Everyone who will appear in your personal branding photos must sign a model release. If the model is a minor their parent or legal guardian must sign the release on their behalf.
Is there anything the commercial use license does not allow me to do?
Yes. You are not allowed to put one of my images on merchandise and then sell that merchandise. If you would like to purchase the copyright to a certain image please contact me.
I need a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Is that possible?
You bet! If you will be needing a non-disclosure agreement please bring this to my attention at or before booking. If a non-disclosure agreement is signed no photos of you and/or your merchandise/products/services will appear in my showcase (online or otherwise) and our collaboration will be kept confidential within the scope of the agreement.
When and how do I pay for my session?
I will collect your payment at the pre-shoot consultation. I will accept payment in the form of cash or check.
Can I hire you to take photos of my products only?
Absolutely! Product imaging begins at $1,000. Please contact me to learn more about product imaging packages.
How do you edit my final images?
It is important to know that my edits are true to life. After all, these images are showcasing the real, authentic you.
How do you select my final images?
My selections will be based on the goals and objectives established during our pre-shoot consultation.
When should I book my personal brand session?
The earlier, the better. In person or Zoom consultation to nail down story ideas and shoot goals/objectives must be completed at least two weeks prior to shoot date.
